While horse armour was common in central Europe and other parts of the world, elephant armour was just as common in India and near-by areas. There’s a huge variety in what was around, but apparently the middle row of photographs is the only surviving complete suit today, the implication being that other suits are reproductions taken from illustrations or fragments of other suits.
