in return: imagine the first time thomas put his hand on james’s shoulder (cos from The Kiss scene, it’s not something unexpected so one has to assume it wasn’t the first time). thomas being like ‘now just don’t kiss him okay. you can do it. be strong’. they’re both just standing there imagining what it would be like to kiss each other. and then later sharing the story. james going like ‘you remember when you?? yeah i couldnt stop thinking about kissing you’ and thomas just like ‘omg same’ ‘really???? ………did it live up to your expectations?’ ‘it exceeded my wildest dreams, my love’. and also imagine this conversation with james in thomas’s lap (james loving it bc it’s. safe and comforting and it feels fucking incredible to have The Thomas Hamilton focus on him like that)
