Also – as I have said before – this is a sugar plantation. Fatal accidents happened at those places all the fucking time. People were maimed and killed on a regular basis. This is not a safe place. This is somewhere James and Thomas need to leave ASAP, with as many other people as they can possibly take with them, because this place? Is sickening, from its owner with his little speech that misses the point entirely, to the way it’s run, to its very purpose in being there. Fuck Oglethorpe, and his plantation too.
