So like, if you play those battlefield WWII games, or you ~love~ post WWI culture/fashion and everything, and you envision yourself joining a resistance movement and spying against the Reich, or the Brownshirts, or Imperial Japan, and you sit here and you minimize Trump’s violent rhetoric and the OBVIOUS emboldening of white power/white nationalist action that has taken place since last Tuesday, you are lying to yourself.

You would have been complacent, if not outright exploitative of the fascist movement(s) across Europe and East Asia. And you certainly would never have joined any kind of resistance movement.

That man up there? He is LITERALLY the same as every mealy-mouthed soft-pedaling isolationist who said “well, the nazis aren’t bothering us, so let’s try to work with them” that allowed WWII to happen.

Even if the argument held water that Trump isn’t *that* bad, look at who he is surrounding himself with to help him figure out how to be a president. Like…please.
