*hugs* thanks. The car mess is being sorted, I’ve figured out how to deal with the cat (I think), and the meetings are finally over (thank fuck). Now I just need to finish my work tasks, go home, and start packing to go on vacation for a week (and respond to the good news. musn’t forget that!)

Thank you! I’m very, very glad it has too. The stress had been slowly tearing me to bits, so now I’m coming down off that reaction and realizing that this is really real and it’s over.

*hugs* thanks. I keep hoping that one year I’m going to have had enough time to process things and be cheerful for the holidays and every year I’m stupidly surprised at just how not ok I am during this season. You’d think I’d learn and just book a holiday somewhere sunny over Christmas break.

once when i was doing phone support, i sounded so much like the recording that the person just didn’t respond assuming that i was just telling them that their hold time was five minutes.

I’ve had people pause quite a lot before talking lately, so I think a lot of them just didn’t want to tell me I sound like the recording. It’s not exactly the first time, just it’s always an indication that I’m so done that I’ve gotten aggressively polite.
