I was tagged by @char7. Thanks!
1. Always post the rules
2. Answer the questions given by the person who tagged you
3. Write 11 questions of your own
4. Tag 11 people (or however many you want)
1. What was your first ship? Hmm. I’m trying to remember and I think the first thing that qualifies is Bagginshield. Prior to that I think most characters I came across I really didn’t give a crap about romantic relationships which… probably should have been indication #1 that I am ace af, now that I think back on it.
2. Do you have any pets? I have two cats, one calico and one tabby and white.
3. What’s your birthstone? Sapphire, which is good because I like blue
4. Do you believe in karma or do you think life is just random? I do believe in karma, I just tend to believe that it doesn’t always catch up with people quickly.
5. Favorite band? oooh, this one is actually difficult because I a. love music a lot and b. tend to like single artists rather than big bands. I guess for now I’ll go with Gaelic Storm – their lyrics are really poetic every so often.
6. What world leader, past or present, would you like to meet and why? On balance – none of them. The decent ones I wouldn’t want to talk to because they’re way out of my league intelligence and eloquence-wise and the rest I obviously don’t want to meet because, well, they’re awful.
7. How much of your on-line interests do you share with real life friends or family? Eh, they pretty much know what I’m into, although I don’t gush all over them or anything.
8. What’s your idea of the perfect day? One where I get up, buy breakfast at a small diner or cafe and drink coffee until I’m ready to move on, and then spend the rest of the day in a nice, quiet library with a good research project or a good book to read and some music to listen to, only leaving it to eat lunch, and then going home to be with my cats and get a good, long night’s sleep.
9. What’s the first fandom you joined? Harry Potter, sooooo many years ago.
10. Who’s your favorite author? Seanan McGuire
11. Recommend me a book by them? If you haven’t read any of her books, I’d recommend starting with Rosemary and Rue, the first in her October Daye series. It’s urban fantasy heavily based in faerie tales and folklore.
I’ve done the thing where I ask questions and tag people, so I’ll just leave that bit alone.
