Once more, because it bears repeating – I love my fandom! I’ve heard from more awesome people today who heard I wasn’t feeling well and did what they could to help than I could possibly have expected. Thank you all!

Yes they do, and mine has really been playing silly buggers with me for the past year or so!
Ha – yes! It was time, especially since I found myself wondering why I’d chosen my original url in the first place.
personally, when I was rereading TI, I was really grateful that they stepped away from the source dialogue and instead wrote masterpieceful dialogue like they did.
yeah – I’m really glad they decided to go with normal person speak instead of what Stevenson obviously thought sailors sounded like. That’s kind of what I liked about this novel, too. It was so much easier to read.
Ah so it’s a published fanfic. Like “Cosette” or “Son of Porthos.” Is it good?
It is fairly good, actually – reminded me of the original in tone but I confess to seeing a lot more of Black Sails Silver than R.L. Stevenson Silver in his version, in a good way, As I mentioned, I read the novel and wound up having a bit of a laugh because some things just don’t change. I have to wonder if someone wasn’t reading the book when they wrote the scripts for Black Sails.
Sounds like show canon LOL. Is this an official sequel or fanfic?
It’s a short novel written pretty much in the same style as the original. Here’s a link:
