Won’t deny – I was not looking forward to going back in, so since it was a small fire, not much if any damage and no one hurt, I’m not at all fussed about it!

You can say that again! Hilariously enough, after you had sent this, there was a fire in a construction area in the same building where I work, meaning that our office was evacuated while I was at lunch and my boss sent everyone home. So at least I get this afternoon to chill!
Stagnation is honestly the worst ☹
And honestly the worst part of it is that it feels like enforced stagnation, not even anything I particularly chose. I’m just tired of the whole damn mess. I’m fucking tired and it feels like no one has taken the time to think – gee, we lean on Meg an awful lot to be the emotional and financial support and not lose her shit ever.
In the same way that random white dudes in the government should not have a say over what I do with my body (i.e. right to choose) or whom I want to love/marry (i.e. marriage equality), even though THEY probably think they know better and are doing it for my own good (but fuck you), exactly the same way Silver had no right to make that decision for Madi and the Maroons. Okay I think we’re done here. XD

That glorious thing is the beginning of what I am sincerely hoping will be a wild ride with only a passing acquaintance with canon! So far, it involves Pirate Queen Miranda, Hennessey in a role he’s never been in before, and lots of wonderful pirate politics. I have no title for it yet, but I’m sure one will occur to me as I get to writing it!
