From the moment Silver pointed a pistol at Flint’s head to James and Thomas’s escape from the plantation, there was no renouncement.

A take at what happens after the end because I love these two (and assorted characters) too much. Posted as a WIP because what I already wrote amounts to over 60K and I can’t sit on it anymore! Third chapter now uploaded! The next one might take a little time.

New chapter of the giant fic uploaded! They’re getting closer to an escape plan.

After ten years of reclusion, Thomas finds a way out of Bedlam and back to where his heart is supposed to be – Nassau. Only things change – and so do people.

“I cared for a better world. I thought that this dream I had, of peacefulness, quiet, would be able to come to life in Nassau. Don’t we always wish for betterment in those lands where no knowledge can impede on our imagination, on our fantasies? In those days, I could think big because I knew little.”

“Are those days behind you, Thomas?” The Priest asked, while fidgeting with the corners of the Bible he held on his lap.

“They might as well have never existed.”
