You know, it’s funny.  A lot of people seem to default to “Solas is clearly wrong, he’s delusional, we need to stop him by any means” etc. etc. and this is actually not a serious post about the rightness of that or lack thereof, but I tend to default to “Solas is really, really smart and really, really old and he knows, like, allll the things that we’ve been desperately trying to puzzle together during all three games.  If he thinks something is a bad idea or a good idea, then I get a sudden urge to take a really close look at that.”

And yet I DO want to shake him.  Oh I do.  Because fucking hell Solas you know all that shit we’re trying to figure out and you’re telling me stories about mildly rebellious bakers, instead of, say, where the Blight comes from!!, and I am going to rattle you until you tell me all the things.

The things he could tell us. Grarrr.

Yessss

he’s like ‘well I can’t tell you too much or then you’ll figure out my plans’

and it’s like

‘you hate your own damn plans anyway why don’t you just give the Inquisitor ALL THE INFORMATION and see if someone else can figure out something better for a change’

(and also give ME the information because I want to know wtf is going on dammit)
