also Toby Schmitz and Ray Stevenson were so good in that scene like, there’s that moment where Blackbeard has this absolutely pained expression on his face for a minute when he pauses in that story and then continues and then when Jack is talking about what Eleanor took from him and HE CHOKES UP. it’s like bye I’m dead everything hurts don’t touch me.
