I have a lot of feelings about Silverflint right now given that John Silver has discovered the woman he loves to be alive after all and he has a chance to save her. He’s going to get to have his chance. I can’t imagine what Flint, on the other hand, is feeling. What if, distantly in the recesses of his mind not devoted to the current war, he’s considering the one he lost over ten years ago? The one where he had the chance to save Thomas but Miranda, speaking on Thomas’s behalf, told him not to try? And we know he still felt guilt over that for years. YEARS. Probably still does. And here he is, the man he loves getting a chance to save the woman HE loves. And Flint feels guiltier than ever about Thomas but more determined than anyone to ensure John DOES get Madi back alive.
