alright but HC that Flint told Gates to make sure than no one on their crew is called ‘Thomas’. I mean the guy heard the name and he stopped breathing for a moment, he can’t have a random crew member going around, called Thomas. It doesn’t even fit him, how dare he have that name?

I think about this.

Hufflepuff values ‘hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty and fair play’. Gryffindor is all about bravery, daring, chivalry etc…. James and Thomas fit both so well who even made the Hogwarts system… (also I’m on a very long car journey with nothing to do and those asks made me curious so I took the pottermore quiz ‘as Thomas’ and got Ravenclaw bc of his interest in philisophy but I disagree with that). Either way they both go on Hogsmeade dates and hold hands/trade kisses over butterbeers.
