THIRTEEN EPISODES OF DROPPING BOTH HINTS AND DEFLECTIONS!!!#do you ever just think about what a huge risk it was #to wait until halfway through the second season to reveal THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THEIR SHOW #to trust their audience to keep going and have faith that something REAL BIG was happening just beneath the surface #and YES we would get there and would get to see what was below…but not yet #they had to walk that very thin line between telling us too much too soon #and alternatively making it seem like flint’s motivations were nonexistent…they had to give us JUUUUUUUST enough #and somehow they made this character so fascinating to me that even beforehand I was like ‘I care so much?!? WHY DO I CARE’#‘he’s so horrible and I have no idea why he’s horrible but I HAVE THIS FEELING!!!
