in particular, those drug induced visions he has in season one and the revalation that the one thing he still fears is Albinus.

i find it so remarkable because Vane is in way more immediate danger every day of his life but still what paralizes him with fear is the fact that the man who “rightfully” owns him is still alive somewhere.

i wonder if even after all these years he still sometimes felt like he was on the run.
