Do you ever just sit and cry over Miranda Barlow/Hamilton?

Miranda, who lost everything and went to live in a house on an island where no one knew her and no one liked her. Miranda, who was socially isolated and alone and reviled for ten years. Miranda, who stayed in that house and had no outlet whatsoever for all of her pain and rage and grief while Flint went off to be a pirate. Miranda, who loved him and committed to him and tended his wounds and provided a safe haven, a soft place to land when he needed it, who gave and gave and gave and almost never asked for anything in return (lbr Flint would have killed Alfred Hamilton regardless). Miranda, who was finally going to get what she’d been wanting – a chance to heal and move on and make a life with the man she loved – only for everything to come crashing down the moment she saw that clock. Miranda, who was killed the first time she really got to release all that bottled up fury and heartbreak and suffering, who never got to see her husband again, who died thinking he was dead…

Anyway, I cry all the time about Miranda and I will never be over the injustice of her death.

Miranda deserved the world, and I will never be over her.

(Ugh, god, she’s so beautiful *sobs*)

It’s just????? So???? Upsetting???????

Because everyone else gets to be angry. Eleanor gets to be angry. Max gets to be angry. Anne gets to be angry. Madi gets to be angry. But the first time Miranda gets really, truly, openly furious with someone other than Flint she dies?????? The Injustice!

I’m so sorry, my love. You deserved so much better and so much more.

#give me bitter vengeful Miranda who wants to see the world burn
