“I heard about it,” Vane says shortly. He takes another puff, and sits back against the cannon.

“Mr. Gates put me up to it.”

Fun fact! France actually has a similar law, banning work e-mail after 6pm! It’s actually part of a growing conversation, because, and I quote:

[D]igital technologies have created an “explosion of undeclared labor” that is forcing employees to work outside the typical work week.

So yeah! It’s not a bizarre random wishful law making a funny meme! And it’s actually a thing that may happen! Yay!
