like dudes for real PBS has so many resources for education and stuff. you can watch HOURS of documentaries online for free on their site.
like no joke go on pbs dot org right now and you’ll find an entire netflix of public television with full transcripts to boot. the american experience site alone is loaded with multipart docuseries about american history
the availability can vary but even then watch pbs sometimes!! they have really cool crap on all the time. sometimes they play ballets and broadway shows. (donation ad voice) support public television
You ever get in a Mood where you just wanna poof off to another country, erase your history, re-write your identity, and become a mysterious figure who’s never been photographed but occasionally appears in paintings done by unknown artists
I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.
Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.
It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.
How many got better? Some. Not all. Some people, they stay in that pain forever, ‘cause they don’t think anyone else will believe them. Or understand what they went through. So how do you get past it?
As funny as this is, as someone who has met a European badger, all I can say is at least the American one has the decency not to hide the fact that it will tear your kidneys out via your toes if you so much as look at it funny.
