I’m actually really, really thrilled to hear that you loved these particular fics – Renewal and the Hell Hath No Fury verse are dear to my heart, and I’m particularly proud of both of them. One of these days, I’m going to write the sequel to Battle Raven that features all of the ladies of the cast kicking ass and their men getting out of their way to let them.

The Cup of Their Deserving (the wages of their virtue) will at this point probably live forever as my ultimate favourite Black Sails fic. It’s the perfect fix-it, it’s stunningly, evocatively and emotionally written and it contains the most perfect James/Thomas reunion scene – I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve re-read it. @flintsredhair

Thank you so much! I’m so very proud of that one. I think that’s the fastest I’ve ever churned out a fic of that length and that many words, and I’m definitely so very, very happy that it helped so many people after the finale!

Full of Grace is a story that’s always in my mind. I think what captivates me is the setting of “seeing the light in the darkness” and that they’re so close and yet so far. Probably one of my favourite fanfics in all the Black Sails fandom.

Awww – thank you so much! I love that one too – I’ve got such clear imagery in my head for it, but most of all the images of Hennessey’s office with him and Miranda drinking together, the scene in his house when they first talk, and the snowy, dark street and the inside of Bethlem the night that all the action goes down. I can picture all of those perfectly – it’s really a mood piece for the depths of winter for me.
