it’s getting close to Thanksgiving in the US so i wanted to pass around a link to the Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project

Donate if you can, and even if you can’t, spend some time this November educating yourself about the history of the very-much-still-alive tribe that sat down with the pilgrims, the continued history of colonization in America, and about the tribe/s whose land you are occupying.

I’d also recommend seeing if any of the tribes whose land your occupying has a language revitalization program of it’s own. More and more tribes are creating their own programs!

Ice cubed….

The Dutch steel-hulled sailing

barque Europa weaves her way through menacing Antarctic icebergs and rugged, rocky coastline as she makes her annual visit to the bottom of the world.

The unique ship offers three several-week-long expeditions to remote parts of the Antarctic each December through February (mid-summer in Antarctica). Those voyages sell-out years in advance!

For more information about sailing aboard Europa, and her latest schedules and itineraries, CLICK HERE.
