i was rewatching the black sails pilot and richard guthrie tells flint “you may have nothing to lose, but i have a future planned that i’m not so willing to throw away.” him telling flint that he has nothing to lose for his plan is an insult to the memory of thomas and the fact flint lost his name, his home, his career, his love, his father figure, and his spirit because of the one goal they were all trying to achieve for nassau. no wonder he grabbed him to try and use force to get his point across.

I wish my English was good enough for writing fanfiction!! I would write that post plantation thing and everything else. BUT.. I can only write sad asks, that’s about it lol

Aww – your English looks great to me, Anon! Don’t ever apologize for not being perfect at a second language, especially not my weird Frankenstein language that refuses to adhere to rules and borrows vocab from every other language as it pleases.

Apparently it’s MerMay, so here’s Miranda as some half sea serpent . For some reason the very first of those ghosty sequences at the beginning of S3, I thought Miranda dragging herself up on the boat was in some weird fish-tale form (the thud and dripping). I’m loving all the cute and fantastical merfolk for Mermay littering my feeds, but I really love me some cold and slimy, less human and more fish mermaids too.

She tells him that James is alive and they break out together. Thomas shoots Rogers in the face and takes over as governor with his pirate husband. I know it sounds fake but you really do have a lot of silent lovers on this planet who look at you and wish they had your smile or your hair color or your humor or your intellect or your intentions or your heart, your manners, your eyes, your ease, even just you. People who are too shy to tell you what they admire about you or what they wish for you or who they see themselves becoming bc of you & they’re too shy to tell you. even tho it isn’t verbalized, the universe has still heard and the universe has loved you for helping out on its creations. You’re that person. You’re you.

I know a lot of people are saying things like “this isn’t true” but i promise you it is. If you have ever had a thought like the above about someone you see on the street, then you know it’s true. Maybe not with the frequency we would like & obviously emphasis on the “silent” part but the energy is still there for you 🙂 so when you’re having a low-energy day I hope you can reach into ur heart and know that you are loved by someone, somewhere, even momentarily but probably longer 🙂 you exist & you exist vividly to people.
