LAUNCH: #SaveTheExorcist Project

Hey everyone! It’s me again!

So, I think it’s reached every corner of the fandom by now that our little show was let go by Disney Fox.

But the creators, namely Sean Crouch and Jeremy Slater, have been planning for this, and it’s my (and many others’) understanding that they’ve already begun shopping the show around to other networks and streaming services, or at the very least plan to. Of course, they’ll have to illustrate that it has a solid fan base interested in seeing the story continue.

That’s where we come in (no, literally. We’re picking the metaphorical locks of every streaming service and network out there)!

In tandem with Alfonso’s Latin American fan initiative (@todafandoPancho on Twitter) and with some of the brilliant members of the #ExorcistCongregation, I’m organizing a…

WEEKLY TWEETATHON/SOCIAL CAMPAIGN!

The first of these will launch on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018.

Each week, we will focus on one major network or streaming service. Between 5pm and 7pm EST on Wednesdays, all are welcome to:

  • tweet the focus network/service
  • chat online with or call their customer service team
  • send an email

If you’re feeling ambitious, you can do all three! Here’s the schedule—we may add on to this, and we’re open to suggestions!

  1. May 16th: Hulu
  2. May 23rd: Netflix
  3. May 30th: Amazon Prime
  4. June 6th: SyFy
  5. June 13th: FX/FXX
  6. June 20th: AMC

Please feel free to DM me if you think any network or service not on this list should be added.

On Monday night of each week, I will launch and promote the event for that coming Wednesday. So tomorrow, expect a post with Hulu-specific contact information, suggestions for posts and emails, and a bunch more!

If you have any suggestions for what more we can do during these Wednesday crunch times, feel free to DM me!

Ready…set…GO!
