I can’t help wonder how many other people have got fed up of reading black sails fics because of the sheer amount of Silver appearing. He’s not the most interesting character and I’ve seen more angst about him than anyone else. It makes the stories dull.

and the result is that it feels like everything is about them such that trying to find other fic becomes a chore
and then turned to a recs only method of reading fic
decided that the tagging system isn't helping them filter
it's like with any other fandom where one particular character is the fandom fave
it...does seem like most of the tag is Silver fic tbh
just that I wonder how many people have scrolled through the tag
which is not to say anyone should stop writing what they want to write
