• Falls off a cliff during the chase in season one, which is very relatable because seriously looking into that face would have made me have a heart attack on the spot

• Calls Charles Vane “Chaz" 

• “Life is simply TOO FUCKING SHORT”

• can’t handle seeing a girl cry no matter how fiercely he insists she is “barking up the wrong tree”

• delivers without a doubt the best one-liners on the whole show

• “Darling, I do understand why you wouldn’t want to tell me about this but please know that all i ever wanted was for you to be happy” !!!!! he cares so much for anne!!!

• Smiles on command

• gently pats the head of the tied up captain whose ship he just boarded

• The way he tries to impress and charm Blackbeard who remains thoroughly unimpressed

• Experiencing slightly cooler temperatures than in Nassau: “I can’t feel my balls. No one should live here!”

• Is confronted with the death of the man his entire plan rested on: mhmh…..mhmh…….mhmh

• The way he holds back tears when he hears about Charles’ death

• Is generally pretty bad at being a pirate but somehow still manages??

• Going from being pretty much completely useless in season one to only surviving pirate captain of all of Nassau, about to become the fucking legend we know from history books at the end of the show
