AMAZON OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES THE LORD OF THE RINGS PREQUEL SERIES

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the worldwide television rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings franchise and is moving forward with a multi-season prequel series. Set in Middle Earth, the original series will explore new storylines preceding The Fellowship of the Ring and will be based on Tolkien’s original writings.
