For real though, there’s an actual example of medieval humour called “The Joyous Sermon on the Life of Saint Onion” which details the horrors of how pious Saint Onion was chopped up and fried and made into Pate and devoured as a parody of over-the-top hagiographic texts (biographies of saints).

So basically, yep this would fit right in with actual medieval catholic shitposting.
