Recently I saw a bunch of posts about commenting under fics, etc. and how it doesn’t have to be a full review or anything. A few words saying you liked it means a lot to the author. And this is absolutely true, but then I looked on tags under my recent angsty post and I wanted to let you know for angsty things you don’t even have to say you liked it.

Here are some prime examples from those tags which delighted my poor author heart:

#ouch #op is a heartless asshole #SOBS #STOP IT #um what is this where did my heart go #ohmygosh #:“”( #DONT #:( #literally crying #I’m too emo for shit gods help me #goddamnit i… #i cant… #i cant do this right now

Feel free to use any similar variation on any angsty fic/fanwork. Angst creators love your pain because it means they did something right.

(also, as one of those tags suggests, we’re assholes)
