income inequality is cool and all to talk about but uh the wealthiest people in the world don’t even fucking have incomes like most people, they have wealth that generates more wealth. they make millions just because they’re rich, quite literally. their money is grounds for them to have more money lmao.
and these are the people who like when 8 of them get together have more wealth than 4 billion people. no one and i mean no one works harder than 4 billion people combined, thats fuck absurd if you believe that lmao.
We need to talk about capitalists’ ties to the means of production, they are the ones who directly control what everyone’s incomes are in the world. They set the standard, they are the ones with the power in this world. And it’s not very many people.
It doesn’t matter how many times we address income inequality, when we have these people, this small group of people who have no income, who quite literally are in complete control of how much people get paid at their factories, at their offices, at their restaurants, at their stores, etc.
Nobody should be legally allowed to become a billionaire.
Nobody should be legally allowed to have more wealth than a country.
The existence of extreme wealth necessitates the existence of extreme poverty in a functional economy.It all needs tearing the fuck down.
The capitalist system must be destroyed for the people to survive. If anyone truly values human life, they should be able to see this.
