I currently have two, Watson and Patches (fondly referred to as Puttles because who’s a pretty kitty, who’s a putty girl, who’s a Puttles? Yes, I know, it’s ridiculous, don’t judge me)
*butts in* Aww! Pics??? I love love love cats and my own kitty, whom I also baby talk so I get you lol.
Haha, of course I have pictures of my kitties! Patches is the calico and Watson is the tabby and white. He’s good about posing but refuses to look at the camera/my phone/anything with which I might conceivably take a picture of him. In the second picture you can spot a bit of the cage I was forced to put around the top of my furnace to keep Puttles from rubbing the wires right off (which she did twice, occasioning some swearing and some dodgy amateur electrician fixes).
Pretty! I adore calicos and tortoiseshells!! I see the wiring. Does she do the ‘I’m rubbing my face on everything’ thing? My cat Edward has done it so many times to the kitchen corner it looks dirty with whatever kitty face oil he has.
She rubs EVERYTHING. Is there a new box? Better rub that. New person in the house? Hold still, Puttles has to rub. Thing that she’s even remotely close to? Better rub that too. She can be in the middle of playing and then gets distracted and has to go rub things. My personal theory is that she’s making up for the… seven or eight years that she spent being terrorized and not letting anything or anyone touch her and then the two years I had to spend convincing her that she is in fact safe once she came to live with me. We’ve come a long way, that cat and I.

There’s a pic of him sitting inside one of our cabinets, just chilling too; a recent pastime. He loves to open the liquor cabinet for some reason. Just opens it, doesn’t go in it. He’s quite the personality lol.
Aww – he’s a very fluffy sir! Tell him hello for me. Watson has recently decided that one of my flower planters is a great spot to sleep in, so it looks like all flowers are going to have to go elsewhere this year!
