So what are the Black Sails rarepairs and who is writing them?

Well, one day I’ll get around to writing that DeGroot/Flint fic, and also Miranda/Anne, which makes much more sense once I explain it.

I cry tears on the daily that my favourite ship is canon, ofc, but I will forever be weak for a good crack ship with interesting psychological underpinnings. (Ask me about them, if you dare.)

I’d love to see some Silver/Miranda, which is definitely a rarepair.  The idea of the two of them just tickles me, for some reason; maybe because I think Miranda would be an amazing mentor for Silver, maybe because I think more than just about anyone on this show, Miranda deserves some really, really good sex.  I don’t know if I’ll ever write it, but I’d looove to read it.

I feel strongly about Flint/Lt. Utley. They could’ve both bonded over being Lieutenants and had hot prison sex. If my plate wasn’t already so full of porn, I’d write it.

@old-long-john asked me to write some Silver/Miranda – I am definitely going to get round to it at some point. 😀 But @corsaircourser there is already some out there and it’s excellent! See Chapter 2 of Inamorato, a 5+1 fic in which Silver has sex with pretty much all the female characters on the show. And ‘Til the world stops turning is Silver/Flint/Miranda and really awesome.

I am a rarepair enthusiast and would dearly love to see more Silver/Muldoon (which I wrote once in a Silver/Flint fic), Miranda/Madi (which gets a lot of love in this wonderful modern AU by @jamesbarlow), Max/Miranda (which I wrote once), Max/Idelle (which I also wrote once), Jack/Silver, Eleanor/Anne (there are a handful of really good Eleanor/Max/Anne fics out there!)… Honestly as long as I like both characters involved I can probably be persuaded to read any rarepair.

I’m in the middle of writing what’s going to be a Vane/Madi fic.
