We, the writers, will accept any of your fan arts.

We don’t care if it looks like shit to you, or you think your art skills are not good enough.

We will love any fan art, because it’s the most beautiful way to say “I love what you write”.

I know I haven’t written anything in ages, but if someone were to make fan art for something I wrote, it would be really special for me. I have no visual imagination- I don’t see pictures in my head at all. I don’t actually know what my stories look like. Even though I know what an actor looks like, I’m depending more on what they *sound* like when I write. So, yeah, seriously, the perceived quality of artwork wouldn’t matter. I would still be thrilled and probably think it was amazing.

(Also, I can’t draw for shit, so trust me, pretty much anything is super impressive to me)

I met my wife when she asked if she might illustrate something of mine.

Okay, getting married might seem like an over-reaction to some people, but her art is fantastic.

First of, love the marriage addition to the post. Second, please please please please please please please please please please please please?

If you ever felt like drawing something I wrote I will 100% love it because you out your time and effort into something I cannot do and are so precious

Friends, the lovely @weillschmidtdoodles did art for me recently, as has the equally amazing @bean-about-townn and let me be really clear – I have never gotten more writing done in my life than I did after seeing their art, because it is always, always, always exciting to receive art for your stuff. I had never experienced that before but I can now tell you that it is the best feeling in the whole world.
