What I say when my boss’s boss asks how I am: I’m fine
What I mean: I’ve been up since 5:30 this morning. It’s now close to 2:30, I haven’t had a lunch break, and we all put in two extra hours at work this morning that none of us are getting paid for because it’s technically voluntary even though it really absolutely isn’t. Fuck this place and my life.
