This Russia and national security scandal is getting juicier and juicier each day. If you have a TV, turn on the news. If you have a computer, read the news. If you’re a paper-person, pick up a newspaper. Obviously, he didn’t “legally” win the election when latest breaking news says that his campaign was constantly involved with a foreign country. Obviously it wasn’t “fair and square” when he lost the popular vote. And no, we’re not just gonna “GET OVER IT” because 45 isn’t just an ugly orange man we like to hate on for shits and giggles. He’s jeopardizing our security, he’s jeopardizing our future, and he’s jeopardizing our lives.

The man’s been in office a month and the amount of – illegal – damage he’s already done has been absolutely tremendous. The fuck are people defending when they jump up to defend him???
Someone mentioned this on another post about Trump being deposed, and I think it’s worth bringing over here as well.
Make no mistake, Pence is bad. I think we’d be in for four (or however many) years of civil rights battles that would really fucking suck.
However, if/when (please god when) Trump is removed from office, it sends a line to Pence et al. It says, “There are lines you can’t cross. You’re being watched, and remember you work for the people, not the other way around.”
Not only that, but Pence is far, far less of a national security risk, ie. an actual politician who knows how to behave politically and democratically. We’re up for four years of horseshit and civil rights issues either way, I’d like to take my civil rights battles with less chance of actual war.
Literally nothing will happen unless they agree to investigate him. CALL YOUR CONGRESSPERSON!! If they happen to be on the House Intelligence Committee call/email/tweet them everyday! Call Devin Nunes, Republican chair of the committee and tell him you want an investigation! He worked on Trump’s transition team, he’s in charge and he’s refusing to investigate!
