you poor thing! D: did they give you any pain meds?

They gave me percocet. This did absolutely nothing for my pain and furthermore made me horribly dizzy. I am now propped up in bed, having taken some excedrin (All Hail Excedrin! All Hail the Mighty God of Pain Killers!) and my heating pad is under me. I managed to catch a couple of hours of sleep between 11 and 1 am, so I’m better off than I was, thank the gods, but yeah – don’t ever believe anyone that tries to tell you that abdominal surgery is anything other than seriously, seriously painful considering that around 10:30 I was crying my eyes out and begging to die.
