Like honestly, it’s hard when you are fat, to trust people and to receive love and kindness when you have spent your whole life being treated poorly and told you’re unlovable.  So don’t give up on the fat people who find it hard to take compliments or who keep walls up, to distance ourselves.  We built those walls over years and years of being told that no could possibly love us and it isn’t easy to take them down.
