the associated press is reporting that the white house is calling this a “temporary media blackout”. but as one of the tweets above states, it’s not a media blackout, it’s censorship. these people are being told to keep quiet and to not only keep information from the media, but from the public as well. federal twitter accounts are having their twitter timelines scrubbed for simply stating facts that either don’t line up with the trump administration’s narrative or hurt trump’s snowflake feelings. makes sense that they would do this following congressional Republicans reviving a rule to allow federal employees to receive $1 paychecks.
