Republican leaders are in a pickle, because they have yet to figure out what their reconciliation bill will look like in order to then work out how to repeal Obamacare. They gave themselves until only January 27 to figure out how to work the legislation out.

This cannot stand!

Someone told me that universal healthcare was originally a Republican idea.

Well they haven’t been supporting universal healthcare since Obama got sworn in.

I am wondering if they want universal healthcare /until/ they realized that means blacks, latinos, asians, muslims, gays, women would all receive the same thing, too.

I don’t know about “originally Republican.” Hillary Clinton campaigned for universal healthcare reform back when Bill was president and got demonized to hell and back for it.

But whoever started it, it looks like we’re the ones who are gonna have to save it.
