But to my eye, she looks the same.”#ok so I needed to make this gifset#after raving about eleanor to a gaggle of gays#at a party tonight#after being asked what’s the gayest show on tv#obv black sails#and I think l legit recruited 30 new people into the show#part of my fervor had to do with eleanor’s development#and me obsessing over this face she makes#and when she’s made it in the series#and it wasn’t just the booze#it’s cold and emotionless and I feel like it reveals so much#this other side of her I’ve dubbed sinfulmurderkitten!eleanor#it’s like this dark place she goes when she’s been emotionally broken#not just broken.. eviscerated and it makes her weak and tyrannical#it happened after max was assualted#again when her father was murdered#and again after vane sullied the memory of her father’s death#i have so much more to say about this fascinating and tragic character i adore#but these tags are already long enoughhhhh#no disrespect to the fans mourning vane i enjoyed his character quite a bit#i just also enjoy the fuck out of tragic macbethian characters#and eleanor is definitely that
