yay! thank you for the ask!
14. easiest character to write? Miranda. She’s so clear, all the time, and so easy to relate to. She’s angry. I’ve spent a lot of time angry. She’s grieving. I’ve lost more people than I care to count. She’s clever, and I like politics.
18. favorite pairing to write? Ooh, FlintHamiltons, but James/Miranda is a close runner-up. They’re so good together and so complex. I like writing Silver/Thomas (we really need a ship name) but they do like to play who’s cleverest.
20. favorite character to write? Actually, and this is going to sound odd, Hennessey. He’s so exasperated, twenty-four seven, and my version of him cares about James so very much – enough to do something horrible to save his life. He’s a crafty old fox and yet he’s so no-nonsense – very much like James, actually.
21. least favorite character to write? Alfred. He’s horrible. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. I know all about him, I know what motivates him, and he’s a disgusting excuse for a human being that makes me feel slimy just knowing his character exists. He’s one of those that’s so very intelligent and I don’t admire him for that, not one bit. It’s like somebody took Thomas and twisted him beyond recognition.
