Japanese designer Hajime Narukawa has invested years studying geography and the world of maps. Whether you know it or not, the current map version we follow, composed by Gerardus Mercator in 1569 is deeply flawed. In this erroneous map, Alaska is shown to be the same size is Brazil, which is a mistake. Brazile is almost five times larger than Alaska in reality. Along with this flaw, many others can be found.
