1. set up a very small recurring donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center and another to the ACLU

I have gotten a couple of questions from those of us living without a lot of $$$ about what counts as a meaningful recurring donation! The answer is literally anything, IF ENOUGH OF US DO IT. 

If every single person who follows this blog (including pornbots because what else are those guys doing with their money??) gives $1 a month to the National Council of La Raza or the Natural Resources Defense Council or the Innocence Project or the Center for Reproductive Rights, some of the most competent foundations doing some of the most important work ahead will have considerably more than 200 Fucking Thousand more dollars every year to do it. That is not nothing. 

YES! DO THIS! Donate whatever you can. Personally? I’m apparently going to get a tax break under Trump. So while I’m only donating $20/mo now, if that actually happens, I’m donating whatever money that bastard gives me right back into anything I can do to stop him.
