Tagged by @jadedbirch. I think I might have already done this one, but hey, it’s far enough back that I can’t find it so why not again?

Rules: Tag 9 people you want to get to know better.

How old are you?: Just turned 28 last month

Current Job/Dream Job: I work in a college registrar’s office keeping records and answering phones and generally being helpful on a number of fronts. I’d ideally like to go back to school and get a second master’s degree, this one in library science, so I can go work in a college library or museum archive.

What are you talented at?:  I’m good at writing, learning languages, and making people laugh when I’m being sarcastic.

What is a big goal you are working towards (or have already achieved)?: I’m currently working on finishing To the Upper Air, which will be my second ever big long fic project.

What’s your aesthetic?: Kind of Bilbo Baggins meets the local witch.

Do you collect anything?: Books? Do books count? Funko Pop figures sort of?

What is a topic you’re always up to talk about?: Black Sails. Tolkien. Magic theory. English history.

What’s a pet peeve of yours?:  Gonna go with my previous answer and say people that make life unnecessarily difficult for other people. Like – how hard is it to be nice and not ruin people’s day?

Good Advice to Give: You have a right to be kind to yourself. Give yourself that nice thing that you’ve been saving up for and don’t feel guilty about it. Give yourself the space you need to deal with things. Don’t be afraid to be your own best advocate. And never, ever be afraid to tell someone to fuck off if they won’t respect your boundaries.

Recommend three songs?:

Um… ack. I love music. I love it so much. I have so many favorites, but these are some of the ones that pop into my head when nothing else does.

Lady of Shalott by Loreena McKennitt (based off the Arthurian legend)

The Ent and the Entwife by Adele McAllister (Based off a song in the Silmarillion that was supposedly written sometime in the First or Second Age of Arda)

The Old Man by Kate Rusby (It’s based off a poem in Middle English and I’m a nerd for things like that)

Tagging 9 people? Nah. Do it if you want – I have no idea who I tagged last time or who’s done it already. Have fun!
