I was sort of tagged by @whatifimacrowdeddesert, and I need something to do since once again it’s oh god thirty and I feel like shit, so here goes!

How old are you? 28
Current job/dream job? Currently I work in a registrar’s office at a college. Ideally I’d love to get my MLS degree and go back to working in a library, ideally in a special collections/historical archives kind of position.
What are you talented at? Writing, researching, and learning new languages
What is a big goal you are working towards (or have already achieved)? I’ve managed what hardly anyone in my immediate family has – a full-time job that’s well paid where I don’t have to be on my feet all the time. That’s a big deal where I live.
What is your aesthetic? Bilbo Baggins. I’ve got a room that’s pretty much lined in books and a lot of swords as well as a bow and arrow, and more stacks of notebooks and pens and ink than you can shake a stick at.
Do you collect anything? Not really, unless you count books.
What is a topic you are always up to talk about? Magic theory and Tolkien. Oh, and Black Sails, of course.
What is a pet peeve of yours? People taking tiny annoyances and blowing them up into big huge things and effectively ruining other people’s days because they were minorly inconvenienced for two seconds.
Good advice to give? What will be will be. You can’t always control it, but you can control whether or not you get up, dust yourself off, and carry on or not.
Recommend 3 songs? Oh gods. Anyone on here that knows me knows I kind of have a habit of knowing a song about anything you care to name, so asking me to name only three is tough. Um… Dark Night of the Soul by Loreena McKennitt, Stars by Heather Dale, and Wicked Girls by Seanan McGuire
