So – I think I might have mentioned on here that I’m working on a Flint wakes up as McGraw fic (the time honored character x winds up y years in their own past with the knowledge of how everything is about to go to shit fic, in other words). I’m sitting here kind of shocked because the characters are – not doing what I expected them to. So far I’ve got Flint kind of ridiculously… almost giddy, and Miranda kind of losing her shit and maybe breaking plates, because she wanted to come along for the ride. I started this thinking the difficulty was going to be keeping Flint from being – well – Flint, and now I’m coming to the realization that the difficulty is going to be in keeping Miranda from going off the deep end and murdering Peter Ashe and then following up with poisoning Alfred and maybe slapping Hennessey for good measure. Angry Flint is a scary man, but angry Miranda is a force of nature.
