I almost exclusively write my fics using the Notes app on my Macbook!

oh gosh am I seriously the first person to say that I write exclusively in Word? I have to be set up comfortably at home, have my nice custom background and font colors (sepia) and a good font or nothing happens.

I keep fic notes/outlines in Google Docs, though. 

Same – Word and nothing else (and some mp3 player). Background set to a different color, usually light blue, some music and that is it for me. 

Google Drive all the way. I’ve had way too many computer mishaps (viruses, power shortages, Word suddenly not responding) for anything else, and I’m on the go too often. Itunes, but only with classical music – nothing with words, or Pandora with the music down so low I can barely hear it.
