i got the best ao3 comment ever this morning its like 600 words on a 2k story. im printing it out and keeping it in my wallet.

If I could, I would engrave all the comments I get on individual metal discs and pile them up into a dragon hoard and sleep on it.

Got a fantastic comment yesterday that literally gave me a breath of life. I don’t think people realize the power of their words. Kudos are amazing, but comments are life-givers.

I got a really, really sweet comment on one of my fics yesterday. The kind that make you bounce in your seat and blush, because you can’t believe someone thinks that highly of something you’ve made.

It got me to sit down and bang out like 600 words for something I haven’t had the spoons to touch in months.

Words have power. You like something? Tell the person. Because there’s a 99% chance they’re not a mind reader.

I adore long comments, or short comments, or any comments. I had a friend tell me that part of my fic made her forget she was reading the fic and not watching the show it was based on. It was the best possible compliment I could have gotten.
