What really bothers me about the posts we’re getting now in the form of “Bernie would be winning if you teenagers would get off your asses and vote” is that it’s both shitty political strategy and it makes the blogger a shitty human being.
Because fundamentally you’re looking at all the catastrophic problems with the American system and then you’re pointing at the people who have the LEAST POWER WITHIN THAT SYSTEM and then you’re saying, hey, you, this is YOUR fault.
Not only is it unforgivably ignorant, I have a hard time seeing how it’s not straight up victim blaming.
