I’ve never done one of these for myself before, but my brother and his
family are in financial trouble. They’ve been struggling to get back on
their feet for the past few years
since he lost his job when the company he worked for went bankrupt, and
he’s only been able to find part-time work
since.  Between he and his wife, they have four adorable kids who are
currently living in a motel after being evicted from their apartment. To
add to everything, their car has broken
down and needs to have the head gasket replaced.  For the moment he’s
riding back and forth to his recently acquired full-time job with a
coworker, but he needs to repair the van so that he isn’t relying on
someone else to get to work, which he can’t afford to lose.  Please, if
you can afford to contribute, even a dollar is better than nothing.

Help them stay out of the homeless shelter and off the street – we can’t
stand to see them land there again.                

This is Ben and three out of the four kids.  I really, really don’t want to see them go into foster care again because he and my sister-in-law can’t afford to take care of them.  Again, please, if you can afford to donate, they really need it.  If you can’t, I totally understand.  Even a signal boost will help.
